Banerjee focuses on service provider IT, including all aspects of telecom software research. Banerjee examines the breadth of software used by communications service providers in customer, business, service, and infrastructure management. His area of focus includes all aspects of BSS, OSS, SDP, digital commerce, revenue assurance, service assurance, and elements that span both the infrastructure and network software markets, such as data warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence. Berge Ayvazian has joined Heavy Reading as a Senior Consultant, following more than 20 years as a senior telecom industry analyst and strategy consultant with Yankee Group. Ayvazian is conducting research and consulting projects on the convergence of broadband and mobility and the business strategies of mobile broadband technology and service providers. Ayvazian served as Yankee Group's CEO from 1999 through 2001, and later served as strategy director for the Reuters Research and Advisory Unit. He is now leading a new integrated research and consulting practice on 4G Network and Mobile Internet Evolution. This practice will help operators to develop their 4G technology roadmaps – building on existing Heavy Reading research in packet core, service platforms, and mobile backhaul – and build a complete mobile Internet business case leveraging Pyramid's regional demand-side research on 4G and mobile Internet service adoption. Rajan Mathews

Prior to joining COAI as DG, Rajan served as COO of US Operations and Corp. CFO and VP of Telargo Inc. (a Joint Venture of NTT DoCoMo), overseeing all of the company's Strategic Planning, Business Development, Financial, Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Administrative and Human Resource functions. Prior to joining Telargo, Rajan was President of Afghan Wireless Communications Company, establishing it as Afghanistan’s largest and most profitable telecommunications company. Before this, Rajan served as VP and CFO of Call Sciences Inc., a premier provider of Unified Communications Services (a Soros/Chatterjee Group Company). Immediately before this, he was at A T & T Wireless, where he held a number of senior executive leadership positions, including Divisional CFO, Corporate Controller, President and CEO of one of its largest international joint ventures – Birla-AT&T in India (now IDEA). Earlier in his career, Rajan was a finance executive at such companies as Beatrice International, Tri-Star/Columbia Motion Pictures and senior consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

RK Bahuguna

Presently working as Chairman and Managing Director of RailTel and working on business strategies to grow, transform and sustain. Building up organizational capacity and capability in telecom and IT infrastructure to bridge digital divide. Prior to this, he was Director (Network Planning & Marketing) in RailTel for over four years and was responsible for marketing of Railways and RailTel’s telecom services. He was also instrumental in planning RailTel’s all India Network. Mr Bahuguna was the founder member of RailTel’s Core team in the year 2001 and headed operations of RailTel in Western Region. He was responsible for projects, networking, O&M as well as marketing activities.
Mr. Bahuguna started his carrier in Railways in January, 1982, as IRSSE after qualifying all India Engineering Services Exam. He is tuned with Railways and its working culture & has long association with Railways working in all fields, mainly in Signaling & Telecom.
He is also a professional signaling Engineer & has nurtured the same for 20 years before switching for modernization of telecom on Indian Railways. Suresh Nair has over 13.5 years of experience in Telecom Software Development across various technologies and platforms. In his current position he serves as Director/Head of Engineering for the Femto System R&D within the Small Cells business line in Nokia Siemens Networks Bangalore, working towards the commercial development and roll out of NSN’s 3G and 4G Femto solutions for telcos worldwide. Suresh is responsible for System Architecture, Development, System & Performance Test, Trials and Commercial roll outs as part of this job. Jagbir Singh

Jagbir Singh, in his current role as CTO & Director - Networks and member of the Airtel Management Board, leads the Network Services Group across India and South Asia. He is responsible for managing one of the largest integrated networks in the world providing – 2G ,3G ,4G, fixed line voice and DSL, National and International long distance and DTH services. Jagbir is instrumental in providing strategic direction & vision to Bharti group on all network technology related aspects. Prior to joining Huawei in early 2008, he served Alcatel-Lucent for 12 years where he headed Sales and Marketing activities for Radio & Wire-line business divisions for South Asia, besides serving European 3G carriers and enterprises during his stint at Alcatel HQ in Paris. Steve graduated from Drexel University with an MS in Electrical Engineering and from Rutgers University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Computer Science. He is also a Licensed Professional Engineer.

Suneet Singh Tuli is the founder and CEO of DataWind Ltd., responsibile for the overall vision, strategy and execution for the Company’s future. He has 20 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur, having previously launched two successful companies that conducted Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on the Nasdaq stock market. Using patented technologies, these companies created a variety of scanning, printing and imaging products, which were sold worldwide through direct distribution and OEM/private-label channels. In these ventures he managed a team of over 250 professionals across eight countries. The innovative products and technologies created through these ventures have received numerous awards and accolades.
Tuuli Sarvilinna
Group Product Manager, Mobile Routing Business Unit, Tellabs
Tuuli Sarvilinna is group product manager of product marketing for the Mobile Routing business unit. In this role, she is responsible for planning and producing product marketing activities and deliverables for the Tellabs 8600 Smart Routers, the Tellabs 8800 Smart Routers, and the Tellabs 8100 Managed Access System. She also supports the product line planning, strategy and other marketing activities on these systems.
Prior to this role, Sarvilinna was senior product manager responsible for working with strategic customer accounts to solve the challenges with network planning, architecture and deployments. She joined Tellabs in 2001 and she has held a variety of positions in product and portfolio marketing.
Sarvilinna holds a Master of Science in engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
